Dharmendra Vasant is the Founder & CEO of GAVS Technologies. Dharmendra leads the company from the front and
focuses on key clients and overall operations of the Organization. He has attended the Executive Management program at
Harvard and is constantly contributing time and effort to help local social causes in Chennai.
Sanjay Balram is the co-founder of GAVS Technologies. He plays a key role in client acquisitions and building
strategic partnership with Client CXOs. His efforts in forming new partnerships and striking strategic business alliances
have made GAVS a well established player. As a key player in shaping the future of GAVS, his efforts have transformed GAVS
into an organization that is sensitized to the client needs and where all members are ‘goal sharers’. His organization
building capabilities are clearly reflected when he says, "we need to build a sensitive and responsive team that thrives on
challenges" - which symbolizes GAVS culture. Sanjay has many years of experience behind him working for companies like
Reuters, Citibank and Aurelec.
Rajeev Srivastava is the Managing Partner of a Private Equity firm Basil Partners. He has a track record of
incubating, building and managing global enterprises and has been a venture capitalist and private equity investor from 2006.
The current valuations of his investments are at approx 5 times the investments made. He founded Apar Holding Corp. in 1996
in Singapore and turned the company into a Global IT business. Prior to Apar Holding Corp., he has worked with iGate and TCS.
He has been an investor and active board member in companies like Encora Group BVI, Apar Holding Corp, Cignex Technologies,
Suvin Technologies. He has grown and guided couple of his companies through M&A and IPO’s.
Sumit Ganguli is the President at GAVS Technologies, oversees the Global Geographies, Sales and Marketing
Operations for GAVS. Sumit has over 20 years of experience in International IT & BPO sectors. Prior to GAVS, he was a member
of the Governing Council at a NASDAQ listed IT & BPO company for over 6 years and oversaw the Strategic Consulting, IP and
M&A operations. Prior to this he ran the global sales and handled GE as a key strategic account for the company. He was the
Group CEO of a publicly listed IT solutions company and was involved in integration and roll ups. Sumit has an APC in Finance
from Stern School of Management, NYU. He is a Post Graduate in Management from IIM and has a BS in EE. He often speaks at
industry forums and is a Charter Member of TiE NJ and Philadelphia. Sumit is also a part time Professor at Rutgers State
University where he teaches International Business for the Executive MBA program.
Prakash Vasant is the Corporate Controller and overseas the financial operations of the Organization. Over the
years he is very closely involved in account managing some strategic clients of GAVS. With a over a decade of experience in
the IT industry and working closely with crucial stakeholders on the Customer side he has contributed immensely to the growth
of the Organization.
Balaji is the head of Global Delivery at GAVS. He has over 19 years of experience in the IT industry across
application value management, infrastructure management, BPO and strategic operations. Prior to GAVS, he was with Cognizant
Technologies handling P&L, delivery & operations and customer relationship management across multiple industry verticals like
Information Services, Retail & Hospitality, Manufacturing & Logistics, and Consumer Goods.
He has played multiple roles across various geographies in USA, UK, Continental Europe and Asia-Pacific through Patni
Computers, L&T Infotech and Cognizant. Some of the clients he has serviced are General Electric, Hitachi, Dun & Bradstreet,
DHL amongst many others. He holds a B.E degree in Computer Science from Karnatak University, Dharwad.
Kieron McGarry is the Strategic Account Director at GAVS UK. with a key objective to help build and grow the
GAVS business in Europe. With many years of technical and IT management experience, Kieron has held a wide variety of
Information Technology roles. He has worked in Europe, Asia Pacific and the US - and has extensive experience in the
leadership and management of diverse teams, global suppliers and multi-national stakeholders. Prior to GAVS, he was the IT
Director at StorageTek and after acquisition, at Sun Microsystems where he was responsible for all aspects of StorageTeks
Europe and Asia Pacific IT infrastructure, Business Application development, support and maintenance, including IT service
delivery and security.
Paul Anthony is the Head of Singapore Operations. Has over twenty years of general management/ sales/ marketing
experience in a worldwide, regional and country capacity (sixteen years with Hewlett-Packard) in the IT industry. He has a
track record of growing business profitably and turning around troubled businesses. Paul has extensive experience in channel
management in the retail and corporate space. He has a solid track record of developing sustainable programs and sales forces
to grow businesses in both the consumer and corporate segments. He has managed businesses in both developed and developing
markets. He earned a BE from IIT and an MBA from IIM.
Thom DeFranco is the Vice President of Technical Services at GAVS, based at the headquarters in Denver, CO. He
works closely with the sales team to bring in and launch new customer programs for the company. Prior to GAVS, Thom held key
positions at StorageTek/Sun in Open Systems Engineering and Support. Thom managed the critical escalation and EMEA support
organizations before joining GAVS. Thom has a BS from the Stetson University.
Narasimha Sharma is the Vice President at GAVS, where he leads the Organizational Excellence function out of
the global delivery center in Chennai, India. Working in close coordination with Senior Management he has been instrumental
in shaping and driving the Vision of the Company through various Marketing initiatives. In the last five years he has been
with the company, Narasimha has been involved in setting delivery standards, adopting Six Sigma practices, and embracing
global best-practices in our key services. He has a PhD in Economics, and has worked with GE and Enron in his prior
positions. Working with the executive management, Narasimha drives the corporate vision across the resource base within the
company
Balaji Pillai leads the Enterprise Information services at GAVS, where he has been a key player in the
application development services, application integration processes, and offshore transitioning of support services. Balaji
has been with the company from its early days and has been a key part of our growth. His technical experience and attention
to detail has been of tremendous benefit to our Enterprise Information Services business unit. Balaji holds a bachelor degree
from the University of Madras.
Mathi Ganesan is the head of the Application Services at GAVS, where he leads the company business in offering
full-cycle application maintenance and support for our global clients. He has been instrumental in key deals for the company,
where we have grown existing clients with new business, and won new clients with our customer references.
Karthik Subramaniam is the head of the Emerging Business unit at GAVS, where he is instrumental in the growth
of business within the SAP, data warehousing and business intelligence, and Independent Hardware Vendor support. He plays a
key role in aiding both pre-sales and sales in planning and scaling operations for client engagements within the areas. Prior
to GAVS, he has been a senior systems analyst and project manager for a high-growth ERP product company.
Anil is the head of global sales for India, Middle East and Singapore regions. He brings 26 years of rich
experience, primarily in management and operations, of which the last 16 years has been in the IT industry. He has worked
with Digital Equipments, Compaq, Digital Globalsoft and Hewlett Packard in the Middle East/Europe and CSC in India. He has
good insights in sales pursuits, customer management, deal shaping, negotiations, contracts and sales operations across
various business models and customer experiences, both at onsite and offshore.
He worked as a Director – Business Development and Sales Support in CSC India and established the India centre for sales
support for CSC sales across the globe.
He started his career in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd as Management Trainee and worked for 9 years in its Mumbai
corporate office. He is passionate for discussions on contemporary issues, playing badminton and bridge
Radhakrishna Ram Mohan Rao
Radhakrishna Ram Mohan Rao is a Chief Financial Officer at GAVS and has the overall responsibility for
Corporate Accounts and Finance. Based out of the Corporate Headquarters, Chennai, he liaisons with various external bodies
including banks, statutory bodies and auditors for ensuring the financial health of the organization. He has been
instrumental in laying down efficient processes and driving efficacy across the various Financial operations of the Company.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 23 years of experience in premier Organizations such as Mahindra & Mahindra,
SPIC.
Jayaraj Kannan leads the Infrastructure Services at GAVS, bringing his years of experience from IBM, Infosys,
and TCS in the managed services businesses. His depth of experience in building, scaling, and delivering world-class RIM,
MIS, and offshore support for global customers has helped GAVS ramp up our capabilities. He is involved in pre-sales,
portfolio management, and client relations with GAVS. Jayaraj holds a graduate degree in business, and undergraduate degree
in engineering.
Muralidharan Samavedam heads the Program/Project Management Office at GAVS, where he is instrumental in the
smooth transition of requirements-handling from global locations to the India Delivery Center. Working with different
business units within the company, he plays key roles in guiding delivery on the lines of industry standards and customer
expectations. He brings with him his deep expertise in ERP to build, scale, and deliver managed services for different
clients. He has advanced degrees in insurance from the Insurance Institute of India, and was the youngest Fellow to be
elected to the institute.
Anil Singh is the Head of HR & Administration at GAVS Technologies & in this role is a key player in
transforming business strategy to operations through people. Anil comes with immense experience in HR having worked for over
13 years across various industries, including manufacturing, telecom & IT. Prior to GAVS, Anil headed the Networks business
unit and managed 500 people globally. He has been involved in designing competency and career paths for various
Organizations. Prior to that he was closely involved in the telecom service roll out for a large Service Provider. He is a
Post Graduate in HRM from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune and is a Gold Medalist in BE from MSU
Baroda.
Vijaykumar Gururajan heads Presales at GAVS, where he has been a key contributor to enable sales team and
business units demonstrate thought leadership during client acquisitions. Prior to this, he handled presales and customer
support for a leading global trade management solutions company and led content development for an e-learning start-up
company, building turnkey solutions for knowledge management for the global banking and financial services industry. He
started his career as a journalist in one of the leading Indian business newspaper.
